Miss Liberia in the US Pageant
The Members of the Liberian United Women in Progress invite to join them for one of most anticipated events of the year, the Miss Liberia in the US Pageant. The Pageant provides a forum where outstanding Liberian women from all around the US come to compete and showcase their beauty talent and promote their platforms of various issues concerning Liberia.
This year will be LUWIP 6th year producing this pageant . This year sixteen states are expected to partcipate in the upcoming pageant.
The Liberian United Women in Progress (LUWIP) was founded in 2000 by a group of strong and promising Liberian women who share a passion for promoting and supporting young Liberian women. LUWIP is a not-for-profit and non-political organization that has maintained a tradition for the past five years of empowering Liberian women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum for them to express their opinions, talents, and intelligence. LUWIP is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
